Marine Corps Air Facility Quantico is a United States Marine Corps installation located in Quantico, Virginia. It serves as the primary location for the Marine Corps Combat Development Command and also houses a variety of other units and organizations. The facility is used for training and testing by both active-duty and reserve Marines, as well as civilians, and provides a wide range of support services to Marine Corps activities in the region. Some of the units associated with Marine Corps Air Facility Quantico include the Marine Corps Warfighting Laboratory, which develops and tests new concepts, equipment, and tactics; the Marine Corps Systems Command, which is responsible for developing and purchasing new equipment and weapons systems for the Marine Corps; and the Marine Corps Historical Division, which preserves and promotes the history of the Marine Corps.
