USS Savannah was a Wichita class replenishment oiler served in support of the fleet in the Gulf of Tonkin during the final days of the Vietnam War. She was also featured on National Geographic Channel in the show "Break It Down" which illustrated the challenges encountered removing toxic waist prior to scraping the vessel after it was decommissioned.
